Going Corporate at Nov 19th PWAC Meeting

Mark your calendars for Thursday, Nov 19th. Teresa Murphy will be addressing our group about corporate/commercial writing and how she has found success in that area.

Teresa Murphy has published more than 1,000 articles in newsletters,
newspapers and magazines in the areas of finance, legislation, real estate, taxation, technology and travel. She currently writes articles, briefs, submissions, fact sheets, handbooks, manuals, speeches, books and web copy. She has a B.A., and M.L.S. and a certificate in technical writing.

The meeting will be held in the boardroom at the False Creek Yacht Club, 1661 Granville St, Vancouver BC. In case you’ve never been there, it’s under the Granville Street bridge on the downtown side, on the seawall, right above the restaurant Nu (across from C). Mapquest it if you’re not sure as some members had trouble finding it last time.

Arrival and drinks from 6-6:30. Speaker to start promptly at 6:30. Dress is casual. Please RSVP so we can alert the Club as to how many guests to expect.

This meeting is by invitation and for members of the Vancouver PWAC Chapter.

  1. Thanks to PWAC and Colin for a great evening last night – got a whole bundle of things to catch up on this morning as a result! Not least, wandering around WordPress and sizing up the opportunities of another blog location! Hope everyone else enjoyed it as much as I did.
